As the coal empties pass beneath the Westcoast Express pedestrian walkway across the tracks at Mission the train is about to enter the wye's east leg switch and join the Cascade Subdivision main line to Yale and North Bend. The open shed over the tracks by the highway overpass is the Westcoast Express wash facility.
