2816 to Calgary
Banff Alberta - 2816 pulled a consist that included quite
a few Rocky Mountaineer cars and some CPR business cars into Banff today.
2816 was assisted by 3084 and 1900.
The train was transporting the 13 provincial and territorial premiers for the first ministers conference at Banff Springs Hotel.
Now the big news; tomorrow between 07:00 and 10:00 MST, 2816 will be returning to Calgary pulling 11 empty grain cars. The crew says
these cars are to assist with braking.
