We Hear That Train
A-Coming
The CPR Holiday Train will
roll into Kamloops next Saturday at 6:15 p.m. at the east side of the Thompson Park Mall.
It's the fifth annual voyage for the two trains which, combined, will make their way through seven
states and six provinces - a total of 10,000 kilometres - to provide entertainment while collecting
for local food banks.
Since its introduction in 1999, the Holiday Train program has raised close to 213 tons of food and
more than $1.5 million for North American food banks.
Entertainment will be provided by the Moffatts, Tracey Brown and the Ennis Sisters.
The voyage ends on 19 Dec 2004 in Port Moody.
