Empress Leads GW Tour Out of Calgary
Calgary Alberta- The Empress, Canadian Pacific Railway steam
locomotive number 2816, departed Calgary, Alberta, on Sunday, 28 Sep 2008, with the GW Travel charter train.
Everything was in fine form with plenty of steam vapour in evidence as the train pulled west out of the city.
CP 2816 West included ex-Milwaukee Road passenger equipment within the train.
The train's destination is Vancouver, British Columbia.
