Caboose on the Loose

at High River, Alberta.
High River Alberta - The last remnant of a train
exhibit in High River is about to hit the road.
The caboose at the corner of 3rd Avenue and 1st Street west is going to the Great Plains Canadian Railway Society in Warner Alberta.
Betty Heibert echoed the sentiments of many of her fellow councillors.
While she understood that to bring it up to safe standards would be very expensive, she said it would still be sad to see it go.
The rail car has fallen apart and has become an insurance liability to the town.
