Train Hits Irrigation System
Barrie Ontario - A train collided with an
irrigation system yesterday afternoon, closing a section of County Road 10 for nearly three hours.
The Canadian Pacific Railway train collided with the irrigation system just east of County Road 10, north of the 5th Sideroad.
Nottawasaga OPP could not say why the train collided with an irrigation system, or how. Essa firefighters were also sent to the scene.
The train was damaged, but there were no injuries in the crash.
County Road 10 was closed between the 5th and 10th sideroads.
