Wetaskiwin.
A northbound freight train destined for Edmonton hit Emilia Dublanko at a road crossing at 50 Avenue about 9 a.m. yesterday morning,

All train-crossing signals were active at the time.

the tracks", said Jeff Johnson, a spokesman for the train operator CP Rail.
It takes about 1.5 km for a train to stop, he said.
Police continue to investigate the mishap.
