Restaurant Set to Open
Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia - Nanaimo's new Irish pub-style restaurant, called Fibber Magees Station, being constructed
at the renovated railway station on Selby Street will finally be open later this month.
Owner Trevor Ivens, who also owns the English-style The Fox & Hounds Pub a few blocks over on Milton Street, said construction delays over the last few
months have been frustrating in the preparations for the official opening of the pub, which will soon be announced.
"But it's all coming together now and we'll have live music for free on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays when we begin operations, with plans to extend
that to more nights as we go," Ivens said.
