Indus Alberta - We were out yesterday to catch the "Final Spike Tour" with CPKC steam
engine 2816, travelling from Calgary to Mexico City on CP and then ex-Kansas City Southern trackage.
Not a great day for photos as it was overcast and the train was flying!
We caught it mid-morning at Indus on the Brooks Subdivision and then a few minutes later east of Carseland as the
train had stopped there for some reason.
CPKC's the "Empress" headed the consist followed by 3 tenders, hydrogen-powered 1001, FP9A 1401, and
4107.
Hats off to CPKC staff who prepared this train.
