CPKC Adds June Stop in Winnipeg to Steam Tour

Winnipeg Manitoba - CPKC has added a Winnipeg stop during the return leg of its Final Spike Steam
Tour with 4-6-4 number 2816, the railroad announced late Monday.
The railroad said in a Facebook post that the locomotive would make a special stop in Winnipeg on
30 Jun 2024.
The engine will be on display at the railroad's yard at 949 Jarvis Avenue from noon to 16:00.
The tour's events had been scheduled to conclude with the train's arrival in Mexico City on 4 Jun 2024.
The tour continues today (30 Apr 2024) with an appearance in Minot, North Dakota, scheduled for 16:00 to 19:00 at the
Main Street North grade crossing.
