Gull Lake Saskatchewan - A CPKC train has partially derailed, blocking the entrance and exit into
the town of Gull Lake from the Trans-Canada Highway.
A segment of the train appears to have separated and come off the tracks, destroying several train cars and creating
some traffic disruptions.
Swift Current Rural RCMP are currently at the scene and released a statement alleging that no dangerous goods were
spilled, and no injuries have been reported.
Clearing the railroad crossing is anticipated to take several hours.
For those looking to enter and exit Gull Lake and Highway 37 South, the Gull Lake Truck Bypass remains unblocked and
passable.
As of 20:00 CPKC has not released any information as to the cause of the incident.
