Normally two coaches would be used in passenger service but on this particular day the air brakes failed on this carriage. It was shunted out of the engine shed by these two 0-2-0 locos, guard Steve Clarke, and driver Andrew Rawlins. Controller Alex Hume has his back to the camera.
