This view looking southeast shows the Corris station as it was in 1948. The station was demolished to make room for a car park. The Corris village medical centre, a temporary trailer like building shown in the recent colour photos with this article, sits on the spot where the locomotive rests. From this angle the museum is positioned just out of sight to the left of the photograph.
