BCER number 940 was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in October of 1911 with 44 inch drivers powered by 18 x 24 inch cylinders and a boiler pressure of 180 pounds per square inch (psi). The locomotive was sold to Carlton Logging at Hoquiam, Washington, USA, in 1920. Then sold again to Wynooche Timber date unknown. In 1924 the engine was acquired by Schaefer Brothers Lumber of Brady, Washington. The engine was scrapped in 1954 - Date? Photographer? - Dan MacDougall collection.
