This large view looks northeast at the town of Realp with Andermatt located in the haze at the extreme end of the valley. Both the MGB and DFB stations are noted plus the DFB enginehouse and the Furka Base Tunnel east portal. There is an unusual short tunnel, located in the center of the photo, its purpose is a mystery to me. Past that lies the Reuss River Viaduct which may be seen in a closer photo further along in this group. Although the MGB and DFB stations are a distance apart they are still within walking distance. It's possible to ride the DFB steam train one way and return via a frequent local MGB train. At the DFB station they can sell you a round trip ticket to do this. Reservations are recommended if you plan to ride the DFB steam train.
