Here's a closeup of an Autoverlad Furka flatcar used to carry vehicles through the Furka Base Tunnel. As you will see in the previous photo, flatcars without this covering are marshalled at each end of the train. The side of those are lowered to create a ramp for vehicles to drive onto the Autoverlad cars. Notice this car has a drawbar rather than a coupler so it must be run in a permanent set. For some reason the car has been left here on this siding at Hospental.
