Shortly after leaving Andermatt the right-of-way starts its descent into the Schöllenen Gorge with a rail and parallel road tunnel. Exiting the tunnel this Deh 4/4 I will cross a stone arch bridge over the steeply descending and fast flowing Reuss River. The railway bridge lies above the old Teufelsbrücke (Devil's Bridge).
