As this series of photos progress from Swanage towards Corfe Castle this next shot took place at Harmans Cross. An Up train (Up is towards London, Down is away from London.) approaching the clear signal for the Up platform is about to pass beneath the Haycrafts Lane overbridge. On this particular date the daily serivice train is pulled by number 80104, a British Rail Standard 2-6-4T class 4MT. Notice the clear Up signal is shielded from view in the Down direction for some unknown reason. Anyone with the answer please respond.
