Number 78019 is a British Rail (BR) Standard Class 2 Mogul. BR class 2 moguls are a direct development of an earlier LMS (London Midland & Scottish) design. Darlington Works built 65 of this class in the 1950s for use in many parts of Britain. In 1998 the engine was restored by the Great Central Railway in Loughborough after spending some time with the Severn Valley Railway.
