You are still looking at the east elevation of Wansford station but this time from the pedestrian overbridge between platforms. The original Wansford station, which opened to the public in 1845, lies on the left behind the Wagon Lits carriage. Nene Valley Railway does not currently own this old Victorian station but has launched a drive to raise the funds for purchase and restoration.
