A train has just arrived at Harbour Station and the passengers are filling the platform. There are two guards on this train seen to the left, one with his back to the camera in a heritage Ffestiniog uniform, the other wears a bowler hat. The guard with the bowler hat is locking a carriage door that passengers have just left. Carriage doors are also locked immediately before the departure of a train. Due to the narrow clearances along the line should a door be opened by anyone it would most likely be torn off. To prevent this all doors are locked before departure then unlocked upon arrival at a station. A guard earns his keep when working a Ffestiniog train. Two of the passengers chatting on the right are also dressed in period clothing.
