This location is physically west of the last shot as we progress towards the Brocken with this series of photos. However, the train in this photo is actually heading in the opposite direction as the packwagen (van) is now on the tail-end. Leaving Westerntor the homes are more spread out with wider streets than the narrow twisting cobblestone streets in the town center. The bicycle path parallels the track for some distance and must be the Stilles Wasser (still water) trail. An apt name as the Stilles Wasser to the left of the path looks to be not much more than a small ditch.
