A stub siding between Schierke and Brocken provided this location for a meet. Malletlok 99 5901 is shown here proceeding upgrade with a "special" consisting of green heritage rolling stock. The Malletlok is photographed from a standard Neubaulok hauled train which has pulled forward into the dead end siding. Soon after the Malletlok clears it will back up onto the main track to continue its descent to Schierke bahnhof, Drie-Annen-Hohne, and Wernigerode.
