Lawyers Hired P.I. to Find MMA Chairman After Lake Megantic Train Disaster

Chicago Illinois USA - The search for the chairman of the Montreal Maine & Atlantic Railway may soon be coming to an end.
 
Ed Burkhardt has been in hiding and unavailable to speak with lawyers, media and Lake Megantic officials.
 
Hans Mercier, a Quebec-based lawyer who has been hired to represent the victims, told QMI that he believes it's only a matter of time before Burkhardt has to face the music.
 
"A private investigator has found his home address," Mercier said.
 
"They should be serving him with lawsuit papers personally (Friday) or over the weekend."
 
In fact, Mercier wants the investigator to videotape Burkhardt being served so that the people of Lake Megantic will be able to see it.
 
"I suggested that the private investigator film Burkhardt getting served," Mercier said.
