The train to the right lies at Platform 1 of the Llanuwchllyn station. The brick building and canopy are the original station constructed by the Bala & Dolgelley Railway then expaned by the Great Western. The wood framed addition to the left contains the cafe. The "Westie" got to ride the train for free.
