First Bluebell Locomotive Since 1958 Arrives at East Grinstead

East Grinstead Sussex England United Kingdom - The first steam locomotive in 55 years has today arrived at East Grinstead station on the Bluebell Railway.
 
Organisers staged a practice run in the build up to the official 23 Mar 2013 launch to ensure the big day runs smoothly.
 
A 9F locomotive made its way from Sheffield Park through to East Grinstead in a magnificent display of how the actual journey will run.

Number 92212 is shown here in Ropley yard on the Mid Hants Railway. It was one of the last 9Fs to be built being turned out from Swindon in September 1959 - 2006 Andy Buckley
