This black and white photo is located on the wall of the Llangollen Library. From what I learned it may be dated about 1890. It shows a woman in period dress on the Berwyn station platform. There is a white farmhouse visible above a stone wall which delineates the north side of the current A5 highway. The King Edward VII bridge, built in 1908, is not present in the photo so the date is obviously before 1908. Compare this photo with the next photo taken 115 years later.
