This strange looking vehicle is called a "Buda". It was built in 1928 by New Westminster Iron Works for the R.B. McLean Lumber Company to move rail cars around the mill site and move shipments onto the Esquimalt & Nanaimo line. For the past year it was in the Industrial Heritage Centre where the Industrial Heritage Society did extensive restoration work including a new paint job.
