Passengers on an afternoon ride up the Pikes Peak Cog Railway had to continue their journey to Pikes Peak in another car, after a problem with the track shut the train down.
 
Remaining rides for Friday are cancelled, Cog Railway officials said, while they fix what they described as a "little problem with the track".
 
No further information was available about the damage to the track, but officials expected to get everything back in working order soon.
