And... the car continues up the mountain. Notice there is NO ballast. Apparently the track is bolted to the mountain with metre and a half long bolts. That sounds like a good idea with the amount of upward thrust put to the rack on a 48 percent grade. This photo shows clearly how the steepness of the grade varies during the climb. The section at the bottom appears to be flat... but it's not !
