Lauterbrunnen Switzerland - During the conversion period of the Lauterbrunnen Grütschalp funicular from 24 Apr 2006 to 9 Dec 2006 we have ensured transportation to and from Mürren with PostAuto Schweiz (Swiss PostBus) and the Schilthorn cable car via Stechelberg.
 
The PostBus connection to Stechelberg is expanded during rush hours to form continuous 30 minute intervals.
 
The same applies to goods and luggage transfers.
 
These are also handled by the Schilthorn Cableway Stechelberg-Mürren.
 
From 1 Jun 2006 to 29 Oct 2006 the BLM train, Mürren-Winteregg-Grütschalp, operates on a special timetable.
 
This leaves the restaurant at Winteregg and the great hiking areas of Sul, Saus, and Isenfluh open during the summer months.

All railway enthusiasts who want to enjoy one of the last rides on the Lauterbrunnen Grütschalp funicular can benefit from this special parting promotion.
 
A special ticket for 25 francs from Lauterbrunnen, or 35 francs from Interlaken (Children and holders of half-fare cards pay 20 or 25 francs respectively.), is the fare for a return trip to Winteregg including a plate of Älplermagronen (pasta with cheese, potatoes, and onions accompanied with apple sauce) in the mountain restaurant at Winteregg.
