It's early morning at the Ropley Workshops as SR 925, Cheltenham, and LMS Black Five 45379 are prepared for a day of work. Both locomotives rest over the ash pit with a water hose connected to 925 presumably to cool down the hot ash as it is dumped. SR 850 Lord Nelson rests on the left but she is not serviceable at this time.
