0-4-0ST "Covertcoat" was built by Hunslet Engine Company of Leeds in 1898 for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry of North Wales. A replica cab was fitted in 1987 with a tender constructed at Launceston in 1991 to provide additional coal and water capacity.
