Top - A short distance east along Priory Lane lies this shed which was kindly opened for inspection by Nigel Bowman standing here on the left.
Bottom - Inside the shed a vertical boilered locomotive named "Perseverance" rests. This engine was an experiment in an effort, perhaps even a bet, to build a steam locomotive for no more than £500. It went over budget, as the boiler alone cost that much, but the true cost seems to a secret. Apparently it runs well and is even quite speedy but lacks somewhat in pulling power. This was probably to be expected considering its light weight.
