This photo shows the bottom of the passenger compartment riding on leaf springs and attached to the deck of the incline car with turnbukles. Below the deck is the 700 gallon water tank. Riding on four wheels. Also shown is the shoe brake riding on top of the rail and the primary brake which clamps onto the side of the rails. The lower terminal locking device is also shown.
