TOP - The upper terminus is reached by a short walk along a lane which connects to Lynton's main street. The lane is wide enough to permit vehicles to access the terminal as was done in the past. The red arrow points to a what appears to be a stone retaining wall. A water reservoir is located behind this wall fed by a pipe from the Lyn River about a mile distant.
BOTTOM - This shot looks down upon the water reservoir which supplies water to fill the incline cars. The lane connecting the upper terminus to Lynton's main street, Lee Road, is shown on the left.
