Bachmann Europe has had a fantastic season with new releases in OO9 and has now revealed a surprise for narrow gauge fans prior to Christmas.
 
With great winter releases in the OO9 scale such as the Quarry Hunslets and the Mainline Hunslets in original Penrhyn Quarry Railway condition, Bachmann Europe has revealed they have a further surprise for Bachmann Narrow Gauge, especially as talk has been rife regarding the possible release depicting the "Ladies" in post preservation condition.
 
"Linda" has now been unveiled in early Ffestiniog Railway condition, featuring the original 0-4-4 wheel formation and coupled to a four wheel tender to create the 0-4-0STT configuration, 0-4-0 Saddle Tank with Tender.
 
The stunning Bachmann Narrow Gauge OO9 model locomotive has been finished in the classic Ffestiniog Railway Green livery and also sees all of the hallmarks of the non-tender locomotives released recently.
 
The model features:
 
Coreless motor and flywheel with all-wheel pickup;
 
Next18 DCC decoder socket with pre-fitted speaker;
 
Firebox lighting.
 
The locomotive can be purchased in standard format as item No. 391-130 retailing at £214.95 or with sound fitted as item No. 391-130SF £314.95 and is available to buy with Bachmann stockists the week commencing 19 Dec 2022.
