December brings the annual visit of Santa and his elves to the Welsh Highland Railway.
But in addition to the presents he will bring with him Sion Corn will also be one of the first to travel through the brand new station building at Caernarfon.
Work on the station started last year and it will be fully open early in the New Year.
It replaces a collection of temporary buildings which have been on site since the railway opened the section from Caernarfon to Dinas in 1997.
Passengers said they were delighted with the bright new building which is one of the largest buildings to have been built in the town in recent years.
While waiting for their train, passengers can browse in a large shop, and will soon be able to enjoy refreshments in a mezzanine cafe with a fantastic view of the harbour and castle.
Trains are running from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu at 10:00 and 13:40 on 9, 15, 16, 22, and 23 Dec 2018. From 27 Dec 2018 until 1 Jan 2019 trains will run to Rhyd Ddu at 10:15 and 13:15.
