The Turntable Cafe overlooks the manual turntable at Minehead. The original turntable was removed in 1967 but this current one was rescued from, Pwllheli in Wales, extended to 65 feet in length, and installed here in 2008. The sign on the turntable reads:  CAUTION  MEN ARE FORBIDDEN TO PASS BETWEEN AN ENGINE OR VEHICLE AND THE GIRDER OF THIS TABLE.
