In 1973 a new era began in the history of the railway. The steam locomotives, which had been replaced by diesel locomotives in 1967, once again came into use. Steam engines pulling carriages accompanied by musicians soon became popular and known as "Srolling Trains" to the tourists who came to ride them. The trains were organized by the volunteers who founded "Club U44", "Friends of the Feistritztalbahn" - Date unknown Photographer unknown.
