Based on an existing freight car frame built by the manufacturer Juhann Weitzer at Graz in 1894, the Czech manufacturer OLPAS MORAVIA s.r.o. constructed four passenger coaches referring to the coaches built by Weitzer in 1894. In July 2014 the cars were presented to the public in Mauterndorf. The Taurachbahn is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
For this reason, from 11 to 13 Jul 2014, a large train station festival will be held in Mauterndorf.
There will be a vehicle exhibition with great entertainment plus food and drink.
Short train trips will operate from Mauterndorf to Mariapfarr and back during the festival.
Also, on this occasion, to reinforce the vehicle fleet new passenger cars will be inaugurated.
