Duncan appears to be a growing community in this postcard photo from 1906. Someone had written July 16th on the postcard but this date seems unlikely as the tree in the foreground has no leaves.

Let's all go shopping in Duncan. Obviously a different station in this undated photo by Rick Horn. The clothing and car appear to be circa 1950.

Duncan station now supports that well known locomotive weather vane in this 2000 photo taken at the rear of the station along Canada Avenue. Although a VIA Dayliner still stops here the station building now houses the Cowichan Valley Museum which opened here in 1989.

Duncan station was designated a Heritage Railway Station in 1993 under the Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act of Canada.
