Stonehenge Works

Stonehenge Works lies at the northern end of the line. This industrial site was once a brickworks. A horse stable is still in evidence where at one time ponies were kept for use in the quarries. Locomotives and rolling stock not used in passenger service are stored here with some items on display in the works yard. Passenger facilities including a craft shop and refreshments are available next the the platform. Passenger trains arriving here have their locomotive uncoupled for water and coal then run-around to the opposite end of the cars for the return journey to Pages Park.
