Police have arrested three burglars caught trying to break into Lydney Town Railway Station last week.
The suspects were arrested after a nearby resident reported suspicious activity on High Street shortly after 05:00 on 10 Apr 2015.
The witness, alerted by noise, reported lights at the scene and a number of people removing items through a window.
Police were at the scene in minutes and immediately gave chase on foot as the suspects made their escape and hid behind nearby buildings.
Shortly afterwards three men were arrested nearby on suspicion of burglary.
Ben Gray, chairman of Dean Forest Railway, said, "The burglars made their way into the waiting area of the old Lydney Town Railway station. They didn't steal anything of value. All we have in there is a fridge that keeps milk and some other drinks for our volunteers who man the crossing barriers.
