Heber City Utah - School children from throughout Utah will accompany the Olympic flame on its ride aboard the Heber Valley Railroad's Olympic Torch Train.
A child from every school district in Utah has been invited to board the steam train that will carry the Olympic flame from Soldier Hollow into Heber City.
The torch will depart the Soldier Hollow train station at 11:12.
It's scheduled to arrive at the Heber train depot on 600 West at 11:35.
"There are a number of counties throughout the state that won't have the opportunity to see the torch come through. We felt this was a great way to help those counties be a part of this great event," said Craig Lacey, executive director of the Heber Valley Railroad.
Some 40 children from as far away as San Juan County will be aboard Utah's 100-year-old railroad for the run.
