It has been 150 years since the Mangotsfield and Bath Branch Line of the Midland Railway was opened in 1869. Just three miles of this line now remains as the Avon Valley Railway. The video shows a short visit to the heritage railway while they operated with the yellow steam timetable which included four round trips on this particular day. Austerity locomotive Hunslet built 0-6-0ST War Department number 132 "Sapper" worked the trains all day long.
