There are a number of roles that can be fulfilled during a driver experience day at Avon Valley Railway.
 
From acting as a shunter to being the guard, there are a number of jobs that need to be done on this busy day before the big event itself.
 
Under guidance, the day culminates in driving a steam locomotive as it hauls its passenger carriages on the line towards Bristol.
 
The full day costs £375 and it includes lunch and refreshments, so it's a great day to get your teeth into.
