It's now a day later and we're back at Basque. This view from a hill to the south shows the track layout. CN double-track to the left, CP to the right. Both railways share the same side of the Thompson River here but (railway) west of here the CN line crosses over the river. North of here in Black Canyon the CN line also crosses the river into their Black Canyon tunnel. Nepa/Coho junction lies out of sight around the corner in the far distance.
