A DN&P passenger train stopped at Arrow station and dining room. The wooden framed buildings of the Elk Saloon and rooms, Cottage Bar hotel, and New England Kitchen are identifiable businesses. A barn, next to the locomotive's smoke belonged to Billy Wood. Next to the barn is Community House built by locals for "wholesome family entertainment" versus the bars and saloons. There's a Ringling Brothers Circus billboard located on one of the building's wall. The switchback track to the left is a 4 percent downgrade to Irving. Tourists would crowd passenger train Number 1 to Arrow, its terminus, would eat lunch, then return to Denver on train Number 2 - 1907 Louis Charles McClure - Denver Public Library MCC-755.
