Sooke will be the scene for at least one episode of a popular TV series.
 
Production will take place on Saturday, 29 Apr 2023 in local parks:

• Ed MacGregor Park including the Rotary Pier and Sooke Marine Boardwalk from 07:00 to 14:00;
   
  
• Whiffin Spit from 06:30 to 20:00.

No access to the parks and associated parking lots will be permitted during production.
 
With the park closures, parking lot closures include:

• Rotary Pier lot on Horne Road 07:00 to 14:00 on Saturday, 29 Apr 2023;
   
  
• Ed Macgregor Park lot at 6571 West Coast Road 07:00 to 14:00 on Saturday, 29 Apr 2023;
   
  
• Whiffin Spit lot at 1510 Whiffin Spit Road, 06:30 to 20:00 on Saturday, 29 Apr 2023.

Crews will also be conducting filming by drone, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, and handheld cameras on Friday, 28 Apr 2023.
 
The public can expect such filming in areas throughout Sooke.
